The America "Syndrone"

We live in an age where satellites can track us from thousands of miles away in space and our mobile phones can act as monitoring devices.  Now and with the application of drone aircraft to police work, we are moving into the age of up-close-and-personal "espionage."

The LA Times' article about police utilization of drone aircraft -- for complete LA Times story click on primary article link -- makes you wonder if contemporary law enforcement has become like the "Ministry of Peace" in George Orwell's 1984.  Paraphrasing from 1984; instead of solving crimes contemporary police departments seem to be more interested in committing crimes, against humanity.

Committing crimes against humanity -- New York police brutality against Occupy Wall Street, Oakland police savage behavior OWS-Oakland protests, and Egypt militarized police actions in Tehrir Square -- appears to be standard operating procedures for present-day, militarized police.
