Quotation for Today: Exuberant Industriousness

In Virginia's General Assembly, gynophobic Republican legislators continue to work with exuberant industriousness to enact laws that endanger the health of women.  The quotation for today captures one aspect of how Virginia's newly passed, gynophobic legislature -- mandating politically-driven medical procedures (e.g., sonography, etc.)  -- endangers women health care.

"So the [Virginia] law isn’t quite as horrible as it was before, but it remains an outrage. It’s an example of the government getting between a doctor and his patient, of forcing doctors to perform an unnecessary medical procedure to advance a political agenda."

Andrew Rosenthal's comments are from his article that criticizes Virginia's new gynophobic law that endangers women health care.

The Kafkaesque efforts by Virginia's legislators and other, like-minded state legislators -- to endanger women's health -- must be turned back, now.  If the Constitution of the United States countenances these types of hate laws, then the Constitution needs amending.
