Breaking News: NATO Alliance Could Be Imperiled

Two key countries of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization -- because of a dispute between them -- may be endangering the alliance.



France's National Assembly (lower house of parliament) passed a draft law to make it illegal to deny genocide; the specific target appearing to be Turkey's denial of the mass killings of Armenians by Ottoman Turks. 


As a result of this action by France's National Assembly Turkey cuts ties with France, and this severing of ties could have major implications for NATO.
