Gangsters and Banksters - A Serial Tale

Again, we have another case where bankers are aiding and abetting a possible criminal enterprise.

In this new installment of Gangsters and Banksters, we are served up a dish of banksterism, Japan-style.  A third-party panel finds that Olympus -- the digital camera company -- was assisted by three Nomura bankers in covering up "at least $1.7 billion" of investment losses.

You can read more about this tale of banksterism in The New York Times article, "Executives Organized Olympus Cover-Up, Panel Finds"; dateline Tokyo.
