Quotation for Today: An Offer They Can't Refuse

Mr. Williams is the recently retired manager of the National Park Service's Oakland-based regional facilities.


It seems that SCE is not willing to help the federal government save money to reduce the federal deficit. Support for deficit reduction measures seems to depend on whose ox is being gored; imagine that!  


Perhaps the federal government should make Southern California Edison an offer they can't refuse.
