Quotation for Today: Private Equity, Still An LBO Firm

Indeed, the private equity moniker has a far nicer and misleading sound to it than leveraged-buyout (LBO) firm, but the sordid history is the same.


Colin Blaydon is the director of the Center for Private Equity and Entrepreneurship at Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business.
